Byrna LE/XL/Boost IWB Holster

Shadow Defensive Byrna XL/LE IWB Holster. 

 

Our Byrna XL/LE IWB holster is made to work with only the following Byrna products:

Byrna XL

Byrna SDXL

Byrna LE

Byrna Boost

 

this holster will only work with the Stock Byrna(No aftermarket modifications)

 

Holsters have 3 three basic requirements:

 

1, Safety 

-Gun must not be loose in the holster

-Trigger guard area must be covered

-Trigger must not be able to activated through the holster.

 

2, Securement, 

-Gun must be secure in the holster. 

-Holster must securely attach to the user.

-Easy Off is not a feature. 

 

Accessibility 

-holster must be accessed with one hand

-Deployment from the holster must not have any variables due to desgin. 

 

 

Our Byrna holsters are no exception to the basic requirements. We make our Byrna holsters to the exact same standards as we do with firearm holsters.

 

We utilize a two clip desgin for our IWB holsters. This desgin is ideal for appendix carry, it gives the end user the ability to not only have a good range of adjustment in carry angle and Ride height it also offers the end user to use one clip and run it as a traditional IWB Holster.

 

Our holsters are designed to be a precision fit(tieing back in to Number 1 of the basic holster requirements). This means that each holster is made to be an exat fit for each setup. In other words, this holster will only work for the exact setup(light or laser) as it was made for. Being precision fit also means that if you have a "skin" on your Byrna the holster will not work properly, and it will damage the "skin".

 

We make our Byrna holsters with a closed muzzle design, that will help protect the user in the event that a chambered round comes loose.

Hand Orientation:

This is where you select if you are left handed or right handed.

 

Weapon Light:

We offer several different light options, please note that the holster will only work with the setup you ordered. If you ordered the holster for a mounted light, the holster will only work with that mounted light. Additionally, as our holsters are precision fit, the holster will not work with a different light than what is selected. 

 

Belt Clip size

This option is for the size of the belt clip. We use USA made injected molded "GripHooks" for our IWB holsters. We have 1.5 inch and 1.75 inch Griphooks available. The size refers to the height of your belt. 

 

 

Before purchasing please carefully consider the Pros and Cons of carrying a Byrna XL/LE, it is bigger than just about any pistol and it is not comfortable (compared to more compact guns) to carry. While a little adjustment goes a very long way, the byrna will take some time to get used to. It is your responsibility to determine if you can stomach appendix carry. Pun intended.
